In order to provide a high standard of care it is important for us to know any communication challenges that you may have.
Non-English Speaking Patients
If you are not able to communicate in English, we can use the telephone interpreting service, Language Line. This will help you understand what the doctor or nurse is saying. We can also use Google Translate. If you would find this helpful, please tell us when you book your appointment and we will allow extra time.
We try to provide important leaflets in other languages. If this is something that would help you please tell us.
Disability or Sensory Impairment
If you have any special communication requirement due to a disability or sensory loss or impairment, please make us aware.
If you require information in large print or other format, please tell us and we will try to provide them.
